Description
A semi-thornless gooseberry with large, sweet, pinkish-red fruits that are delicious eaten fresh. Also ideal for jams, cooking and pies. The bush is vigorous, mildew resistant and heavy cropping. Young plants and new shoots have thorns but become virtually thornless once mature.

Plant in a well drained sunny position with well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until vine is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears in spring. Prune side shoots in summer after fruit crop.
