This variety of Nashi has been available in Australia for many years - PlantNet® now makes it available as a DWARF Nashi variety.

Dwarf 20th Century Nashi is a medium sized, crisp fruit with green-bronze skin, which harvests in February. It is pollinated by Bartlett Pear and Red Sensation Pear.

Uses

• A highly productive, low maintenance tree ideal for confined spaces or for use in pots or tubs because of its dwarfing tree size.
• Great eaten fresh, in cooking, desserts or salads.

Prepare the soil well before planting by adding compost or composted manures.
Test soil pH.
Ensure soil is wet before planting, remove plant from pot.
Do not apply fertiliser to the hole at time of planting.
Water in after planting.
When planting in large pots use a premium potting mix with added slow release fertiliser.
