Crimson Baby is a well known variety of Nectarine that has been bred in Fresno near California... and we have just made it a DWARF variety of Nectarine in Australia!!!
The dwarf version is exclusive to PlantNet®, and is exactly the same as its full size counterpart but more prolific. This early season variety (late November) is self fruitful.
It produces an attractive smooth yellowed skin fruit which is almost covered by a red blush, dusted with-light-coloured speckles. The yellow flesh is full of flavour!
Tree will require staking support when young due to prolific fruiting. This variety compliments the Backyard Beauties® range by giving the home gardener excellent value for money!
