Features

Donsworth is a plum variety, which has been available in Australia for many years. PlantNet® now makes it available as a dwarf variety of plum.

Fruit size is large. The fruit is slightly oval with a dark pink to red skin depending on maturity. It has light red, juicy flesh, which is soft when fully mature. Fruit has a clingstone with a nice sweet flavour, which harvest in mid- January.

The variety being a prolific bearer means it will require staking.

Pollination is required from Mariposa, Narrabeen or Santa Rosa plums.

Ideal for eating fresh or for use in jams and preserves. A low maintenance tree for confined spaces because of its dwarfing tree size.
