Early Rivers is a nectarine variety, which has been available in Australia for many years. PlantNet® now makes it available as a dwarf variety of Nectarine.

It has large, round fruit with red skin over a yellow background. The flesh is tender and juicy with white flesh and excellent flavour. It is a freestone nectarine, which matures in early December.

The variety being a prolific bearer means it will require staking. Ideal for eating fresh or for use in jams and preserves. A low maintenance tree for confined spaces because of its dwarfing tree size.

Uses:

• Ideal for growing in pots or tubs on the patio or good for small sized gardens.
• Great for teaching the kids how to look after their own fruit tree.
