Prunus armeniaca
Features
A traditional tasting apricot, exclusive to PlantNet® with a very clean, smooth skin and a deep orange colour. PlantNet® now makes this variety available as a dwarf Fireball Apricot.
Beautifully sweet and early maturing, the Apricot Fireball™ will bring back fond memories of how apricots should really taste.
This variety is partially self fruitful but will benefit from cross pollination. The round, medium sized fruit contains a free stone and is an early season (November/December) variety of apricots.
Not prone to cracking, this fruiting beauty is one plant you will what in your backyard. The Apricot Fireball™ will grow in most temperate areas of Australia and would be a welcome addition to anyone's fruit bowl over the hot summer months. The variety being a prolific bearer will require staking.
