Flavortop is a popular variety-of Nectarine that has been available in Australia for many years - we have just made it a DWARF variety of Nectarine exclusive to PlantNet®, this dwarf version is exactly the same as its full size counterpart but more prolific.

It is self fruitful and produces large yellow fleshed fruit with a freestone. The fruit has excellent flavour which goes hand in hand with its smooth red skin.

Trees will require staking support when young due to prolific fruiting. This variety compliments the Backyard Beauties® range by giving the home gardener excellent value for money!

Flavortop is a mid season variety that matures in late January/early February. The variety being a prolific bearer will require staking.

Uses

• Fruit Production, espalier, feature tree or specimen shrub.

Prepare the soil well before planting by adding compost or composted manures.
Test soil pH.
Ensure soil is wet before planting, remove plant from pot.
Do not apply fertiliser to the hole at time of planting.
Water in after planting.
When planting in large pots use a premium potting mix with added slow release fertiliser.
