This variety of Pear has been available in Australia for many years-PlantNet® now makes it available as a DWARF Pear variety.

Dwarf Packham's Triumph Pear is a medium to large Pear with sweet, crisp, light green skin yellowing when mature in late February. Its white flesh is firm but juicy with a rich flavour. It is pollinated by Josephine Pear.

Uses

  • A highly productive, low maintenance tree ideal for confined spaces or for use in pots or tubs because of its dwarfing tree size.
  • Great eaten fresh, in cooking, desserts or salads.

Prepare the soil well before planting by adding compost or composted manures.
Test soil pH.
Ensure soil is wet before planting, remove plant from pot.
Do not apply fertiliser to the hole at time of planting.
Water in after planting.
When planting in large pots use a premium potting mix with added slow release fertiliser.
