Sundowner is a nectarine variety, which has been available in Australia for many years. PlantNet® now makes it available as a dwarf variety of Nectarine.

It has medium sized fruit with full red skin over a yellow/orange background, which has beautiful sweet, yellow flesh. It is a freestone nectarine, which matures in late March.

The variety being a prolific bearer means it will require staking. Ideal for eating fresh or for use in jams and preserves. A low maintenance tree for confined spaces because of its dwarfing tree size.

Uses:

• Ideal for growing in pots or tubs on the patio or good for small sized gardens.
• Great for teaching the kids how to look after their own fruit tree.
