Description

A small ornamental tree, with an open spreading habit. The single deep pink flowers are produced in abundance, in mid spring. The new foliage has purplish-green tips, maturing to bronze green leaves. Large red fruit with pink flesh, suitable for crab apple jelly.

Tree Care

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil. Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
