Satsuma Plum

Description

Small to medium round fruit, this blood plum has dark red skin and flesh. It has a beautiful sweet, rich flavour with a bit of tang, and is quite juicy.

Used for fresh fruit, preserves and jam . Upright growing tree bearing heavy crops - Freestone.

Early February (Mid season).

Suggested Pollinators

Santa Rosa, Mariposa, Ruby Blood, Narrabeen. 

Tree Care

Plant in a well drained and well worked soil.
Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level.
Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established.
Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears.
Prune tree when planting to encourage new growth.
